Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy ("Policy") governs the shipping and delivery of the ‘Shaastram’ range of products sold by Indishreshtha Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our") through the official website www.shaastram.in ("Website") to individual consumers ("User", "you", "your").
NOTE: THIS POLICY IS NOT APPLICABLE TO SUPERSTOCKISTS, DISTRIBUTORS, OR VENDORS OF INDISHRESHTHA PRIVATE LIMITED. THEIR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE AGREEMENTS WITH THE COMPANY.
1. SHIPPING COVERAGE
· We currently ship products to most major cities and towns across India.
· International shipping is available at flat standard shipping charge of Rs.1499.
2. ORDER PROCESSING AND DISPATCH
· Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 48 hours.
· During high-demand periods (e.g., sales, festivals), dispatch timelines may be extended.
Once an order is successfully placed:
· Products undergo a quality check before dispatch;
· Post-verification, they are securely packed and handed over to our trusted delivery partners.
3. DELIVERY TIMELINES
Estimated delivery time may vary based on:
· Shipping destination;
· Product availability;
· External factors beyond our control (e.g., strikes, weather, lockdowns and other force majeure events).
Delivery is typically completed within 2 to 8 business days from dispatch.
4. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order is dispatched:
· You will receive a tracking link via email and/or SMS on your registered contact details;
· You may also track your order in the ‘Track Orders’ section on the Website or request updates via email
5. MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Your order may be split into multiple shipments if:
· Products are sourced from our different warehouse locations;
· Certain items are delayed or temporarily unavailable.
In such cases:
· You will receive separate tracking details for each shipment;
· Any applicable shipping charge will only be levied once.
6. SHIPPING CHARGES
· Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed at the checkout page prior to placing the order.
· Free shipping may be available on orders above a certain threshold, as may be notified on the Website from time to time.
7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If our delivery partner is unable to deliver your order:
· They will attempt to contact you via call or message;
· Up to two additional delivery attempts may be made;
· If the delivery remains unsuccessful, the order may be cancelled and returned to origin.
In such cases, a refund (if applicable) will be issued in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy, subject to deduction of shipping charges.
8. PACKAGING COMMITMENT
We use secure, tamper-evident packaging to ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition. Please do not accept any delivery if the package appears tampered with or damaged.
